Amending a statement of case—logistics of effecting an amendment

How to show amendments

The usual rule is that an amended statement of case does not need to show the original text (CPR PD 17, para 2.2). However, where it considers it desirable to do so, the court may order both the amendments and the original text to be shown, in which case the amendments should be shown either (CPR PD 17, para 2.2):
